If you are a new patient, please choose an Initial Assessment option. Please note, we are not an OHIP-funded clinic and our office does not accept WSIB claims. If you aren’t sure what to book or have questions, please call our office at 613-392-8293.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full fee for the missed appointment. Payment of this fee will need to be paid before any further appointments are made for you. Appointments can be cancelled online via your Jane account directly, or by calling our office.

Chiropractic

Chiropractors diagnose and treat disorders of the muscles, ligaments, joints, and nervous system through non-invasive methods of treatment. At TIHC, we utilize an evidence-informed approach that consists of a combination of hands-on therapy and exercise to assist in alleviating pain. We also provide education on how to manage and prevent injuries from occurring in the future.

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine utilizes evidence-based treatments such as nutrition, lifestyle counselling, physical therapy, acupuncture, and botanical medicine. Naturopathic Doctors treat a wide range of conditions alone or in conjunction with other health care practitioners such as medical doctors, chiropractors, dieticians, psychologists, etc.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists are primary health care professionals with a significant role in health promotion and treatment of injury and disease. They combine their in-depth knowledge of the body and how it works with specialized hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat symptoms of illness, injury or disability.

Pedorthist

A custom orthotic is a discrete device placed in shoes to help support, align and/or accommodate foot abnormalities as well as improve how the foot functions. When custom orthotics are paired with appropriate footwear, they can help to address many foot and lower limb issues including: Plantar fasciitis, heel pain, Achilles tendonitis, bunions, knee pain, shin splints and many more.

Alison believes that healing is a journey that we all experience in our own unique way. It is, therefore, important to her, that each patient is treated in a holistic and personalized manner. The naturopathic approach combines evidence-based treatments with individualized care and the consideration that every aspect of our lives (mental, emotional, physical and spiritual) impacts our overall health and wellness.
